Focus and Scope

Research in Arabic Curriculum & Assessment (r-aca) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Pusat Studi Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the fields of Arabic language curriculum development and assessment strategies.

The journal invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit original research articles and theoretical reviews. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

• Arabic Curriculum Design and Development: Studies on syllabus design, material development, and curriculum evaluation for Arabic as a first, second, or foreign language.

• Assessment and Evaluation: Innovative methods for assessing Arabic language proficiency, standardized testing, classroom-based assessment, and digital assessment tools.

• Language Policy and Planning: Analysis of policies affecting Arabic language education curricula in various educational contexts.

• Teacher Education: The role of curriculum and assessment literacy in Arabic teacher training and professional development.
